Through the open Vacation Rental Protocol and HemmaBo's MCP server, a compatible agent (including ChatGPT and Perplexity, with no plugin) can discover, quote, book, reschedule, cancel and status-check on the host domain; when dates are taken it gets the next available date with a live price instead of a dead-end wall. It fits hosts with returning guests or existing visibility who want to own the relationship and a verifiable source of truth; it fits less when a host is brand new with no flow or only wants maximum short-term exposure.
