Vacation rental software. A signed stay offer on the host's own domain.
Answers to the most common questions about direct booking for accommodation owners.
What is direct booking?
Direct booking means guests book accommodation directly from you as the owner — without an intermediary controlling the booking, payment, or your relationship with guests.
Who is responsible in a direct booking?
You as the owner are responsible for the agreement with the guest, payment, communication, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations in your country.
How are payments handled?
Payments are transferred directly from the guest to you. HemmaBo uses Stripe for secure payment processing.
Who controls guest data?
You own and control all guest data. HemmaBo manages the booking website system, but the guests are yours — not the platform's.
When does direct booking make sense?
Direct booking suits owners who want long-term control over bookings, pricing, and guest relationships rather than relying on platform algorithms.
Can I use my existing domain?
Yes. You can connect your existing domain to HemmaBo and we configure the system. If you need a new domain, buy it from any domain registrar and connect it — the domain always belongs to you.
Is calendar sync included?
Yes. Two-way API calendar sync — one calendar, no double bookings. It is included in your subscription — no extra plugins. Direct bookings lock the dates in your calendar instantly.
Can guests ask questions about the accommodation?
Yes. HemmaBo Konversa answers your guests' questions about your accommodation from the information you have entered, in the guest's language. It's included.
