## How your guest gets in.

One link, on your domain. No account, no app. The guest opens it on the phone and everything for the stay is there: the letter from you, the receipt, the address, the door. 48 hours before check-in, the arrival e-mail: check-in time, how to get there, the public transport timetable when your house has one. A one-night stay gets no arrival e-mail. You choose how your door opens: a key, a key box, a fixed code, a code for this stay, a smart lock, or you in person. The guest gets the instruction for that, and nothing else. The door code travels in its own e-mail, at the time you choose. Never in the welcome e-mail. The code is always on the guest's page. You choose when it is also sent: seven days, two days, one day or two hours before check-in, or not at all. With a smart lock, the code is made for this stay alone and stops working at checkout. From that page the guest can cancel, move dates, or ask for one more night, an early check-in or a late checkout, at your prices. One more night is priced and paid there. All of it in the language the guest booked in. Where the house is exactly, it tells only a guest who has booked.

Today, AI assistants mostly research and recommend, then hand the guest over to book. Every stay offer is signed with Ed25519 on the host's own domain (Vacation Rental Protocol: did:web + JWKS) and is valid for 15 minutes.
